Keeping this one short and sweet.
All I can say is **whew**!
All of the work for my next solo exhibition is wrapped and ready to be delivered on Monday. It’s taken a long while and a lot of sweat (as much as I can sweat in cold weather) to get here, but here we are! I was incredibly sleepy on Wednesday when I did most of the wrapping that I don’t know how I got through it. I had to, of course, but still…
At any rate, I’m happy and thankful to be at this place and looking forward to seeing how everything comes together in the gallery space. I won’t be able to breathe easy until all of it is in the gallery and up on the walls.
Maybe then I’ll be able to collapse.
I sent out my newsletter announcing the show earlier this week and wrote more about my thoughts behind the work that you can read about here. If you happen to be in Philly during the run of the show, please make plans to stop by, thanks!
Because I can’t help myself, I also started a new painting this week, testing out some new techniques. I already have ideas for new paintings based on a lot of the work I just finished for this show. Looking forward to more explorations soon.
Congratulations on getting all the prep done, Tim. I'm looking forward to seeing photos of your show virtually and wish I could see it in person. I'm sure it will be great!
