Why am I here?

Hello and welcome to a view of my studio and more!

I’m here sharing thoughts about my art process, musings on creativity and the general entanglements of life and art. Art and life are inextricably connected and there’s not one without the other. What I’m doing with this publication is sharing aspects of my own day-to-day life as an artist in and out of the studio. Most of what I post here pertains to my creative life, but I’m also sharing about other aspects of my life, as well.

I usually try to send out one of these a week, but that ideal is flexible because, well, life happens. So, sometimes, I might miss a week or I may be so wound up with thoughts that there’ll be a couple in one week, who knows? In addition to current writings, you have access to my studio blog posts extending back to 2005.

Why are you here?

You’re here because you’re curious about what I’m doing and want to know more about how some of the stuff I’m making gets made and the mind it comes from…right?!

One last thing:

All subscribers get to read everything here for free, but there is also an option to donate, if you wish, at $6/month or $60/year. Donations here allow me to keep my practice going contributing to supplies, bills and studio food (gotta keep the fuel up to keep creating!)

Oh, you want even more? Ok, here we go:
