I really love the wildflowers on the walls. When I was in Athens this spring, flowers were growing on the Acropolis walls. In between all the marble, there was the occasional flower peeking out. It was so beautiful. Your photos reminded me of that :)

That sounds amazing, especially with the contrast of flowers and marble.

It was a great treat to see this happening and it was in a lot of places. I’m guessing the combination of the sea winds tossing seeds around and the soil/rock mixture of the walls being left alone provide good places for germination.
